MY router is a Linksys Wireless router, so can i hook my 2nd computer to it. My 2nd computer is not wireless and is not a laptop!

Every time i turn on my computer i have to disconnect and then reconnect my linksys wireless g usb network adapter in order for it to show up in the task bar and for me to have internet. I went to msconfig to see if i had disabled it on the start up tab and i could not find it (maybe i don’t know the name of it). Does anyone know what i have to do in order for it to work on startup every time?

I have a Linksys Router WRT54G, I unplugged the power supply and completely reset it. The button that you press is orange and not white. I typed 192.168.1.1 into my browsers address bar and typed in: admin, in the username and password, and it comes up 401 Unauthorized.
