I have a linksys router model number WRT54G. It is a 4 port router. I want to connect the lexmark x 83 Printer to my notebook somehow so I can print wirelessly.

I have an Actiontec GT701R DSL Modem powered by Qwest and a Linksys WRT54G Router. I have other computers and printers in my home that need to be networked together. I cannot get the Linksys and the Actiontec to work together.

They both have the latest firmware versions installed.

I just want to plug my network devices into my linksys and then have it all move through the Actiontec out to the web. I also would like my wireless to work, but I just need the ethernet stuff to work at the moment.

I have a dire need to get this working as quickly as I can, please help.
I need to know about how I can get a route established either Dynamic or Static, what I can do about NAT (which device should run it) and how to get the linksys to point to the actiontect for internet information.

Please dont tell me to call qwest or run a dumb CD, those are dumb answers.

I want to block other people from using my router to get on the net. i don’t have the disc but i can get into the linksys web base page i just don’t know how to set it up.

Q 2. if i put a block on it can i still get in it with my xbox360 to play online. would i have to use a code every time or something cuz if so then maybe i’ll leave it alone.

I just set up a linksys b router and the adapter connected to my xbox says no signal. I dont know if i am setting it up wrong or what?

Im hooking up a second desktop computer, and I have DSL for my original desktop and Linksys for my laptop. I thought the usb wireless adapter would work out, but it says "no wireless networks were found in range". It shouldn’t do that! What do I do?

Or if there’s already a user name and password, is there any way to crack it? Somebody gave me a linksys wireless router a while ago, and I can’t reach the guy that gave it to me. I’ve already tried "Admin" as the user name, with no password, but that didn’t work. Any other suggestions?

I was told by Linksys that since this is a wired router, there is only one password and the other ID would have to know the password to get into my system.

So my question is, how do I eliminate this other entry in Windows XP? Linksys says you have to get rid of that in Windows XP!

I have a desktop computer, a Westell dsl modem, & a Linksys wireless router. My son can connect to the internet via the router, and our new laptop did last night, but will not today. The laptop is showing a connection to the router, but will not connect to the internet. Any suggestions?

I need to find the WEP/WPA code on my linksys router so I can get on my PSP’s internet. I know neither but it will also help to know how to change the codes too.
