Using the web-based setup wizard

The web-based setup wizard can be used to execute a variety of functions on your Linksys router device. You can even use it for performing device reset. Before you begin with the RESET process using the web-setup wizard, make sure you’ve connected your computer system to the local device network. In simple words, the computer system you are going to access the web-based setup page on should be connected to the Linksys router. Otherwise, you won’t be able to access the setup wizard.

  • Open the web-based setup page in a web browser and go to the “DeviceAdministration” section.
  • Here, select the “Reset Device” option. Once you click on the button, you may be prompted to enter the admin password. If you have not set any, leave the field blank and click on the “Submit” button.
  • Now, click on the “RESET router now” button.
